Halloween at Rockbar Inc
Monday, October 21, 2019
Rockbar Inc is an amazing Live Music venue and neighborhood bar, located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. Since 2011, Rockbar had host many local and national acts and I had the opportunity to create seasonal Custom-Handcrafted items for them this year, as well as a final touch do Stage Make Up for the staff and headlining band. The decorations are inspired by the greatest Rockstars and are the result of combining traditions: Halloween & Dia de los Muertos.
Rockbar will be hosting multiple events through out the month of October, ending with a SOLD OUT show "Dia de los Muertos"on November 2nd, headlined by the Black Moods. To find out more information about their shows, visit them at http://rockbarscottsdale.com
Did you know?
The Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and helping support their spiritual journey. In Mexican culture, death is viewed as a natural part of the human cycle. Mexicans view it not as a day of sadness but as a day of celebration because their loved ones awake and celebrate with them.
